I always have no ideas for breakfast. Sometimes, end up buying breakfast at the small stall near my house or at 7 eleven, just grab bread, kuih, nasi lemak etc. This habits are totally unhealthy and if it persist everyday, I will ended up gain weight. . Smoothie is a great option for a lazy me and busy mornings. Well, below are 5 great smoothies for breakfast that are nutritious and delicious.


1. Blueberry Spinach Breakfast Smoothie

My must ingredients for blueberry smoothie are banana, baby spinach and milk. Banana create a creamy texture to smoothie and make sure to use frozen fruits so that you have the thick texture instead of juicy.

Chocolate and peanut butter are my favourite food. I am not sure if this two ingredients trigger my acne. Anyway, this smoothie is my favourite well if I have avocado to make. Have to wait the avocado price drop and I can make it everyday. Haha. Same smoothies everyday will make your breakfast boring. Its important to try variety of breakfast meals.

I agree with the author that there are no limits to what you can do with smoothies. You can transform your favourite dessert taste to smoothie in healthier way. Cinnamon is great to regulate blood glucose level and if you on diabetic diet make sure not to put extra sweetener and limit to one serving of fruit per smoothies. Cinnamon that give extra kick and flavor to the smoothie.

4. Coffee Breakfast Smoothie

If you prefer something less fulling compare to chocolate or peanut butter, green smoothie is great choice for you. I personally not recommend to follow smoothie diet for weight loss. But smoothie can be added during the journey. Maybe you can grab smoothie for post workout.
