Visiting Cameron Highland for the first time? Here is the best 5 places that I have visited in Cameron Highlands. I love its pleasant climate that never gets too hot, Cameron Highlands makes for a great of a destination to cool off the summer heat at. The water is very cold at the morning especially, so you might have to use water heater.
Since my trip is only for 2Day and 1 Night. I travel from Kuala Lumpur with bus there to avoid traffic because usually during weekend and school holiday the traffic there is very bad. Not many places I can visit in Cameron Highlands. Here you can read more 19 Best Thing to do in Cameron Highlands.
1. Visit to Boh Plantation
I think this is the must place to visit destination in Cameron Highland, due to its cool fresh air and breathtaking view. The road to Sungai Palas Boh Plantation quite stressful because the lane is small and winding also a lot of corner. So if you are driving please be careful. Sungai Palas Boh Tea Centre is a must visit place that consists of a tea plantation, cafe, gallery, tea factory, and souvenir shop. And if you are a big fan of tea, you can find variety of tea there. The prices at the cafe is quite expensive but it worth it to enjoy your tea, dessert or snack while watching the beautiful tea plantation and fresh air. 2. Lavender Garden
It is my first time taste the Lavender Ice-cream. Erm I would say it is quite good. Even though the place name is Cameron Lavender but lots of fresh and colorful flower there.
A leisure walk alongside the lawn with your friends while taking photos is awesome. There also have cafe, souvenir stores and more.
3. Raaju's Hill Strawberry
Here you can pick your own strawberry as for me I just buy the strawberry there because my time quite limited there. Fresh strawberries sold at the place daily. The cafe has an extended dining deck suitable for large groups, with a selection of pastries, cakes, shakes, waffles and ice cream from the menu.
4. Big Red Strawberry Farm
This place is closest to my house we stay. So we just walk there. Here you also can pick your own strawberry. The farm also known as Taman Agro Tourism, is an agricultural growing strawberries and organic salad-based vegetables. The salad looked fresh and "healthy", maybe the weather there is suitable for agriculture. And lots of beautiful roses grow there also.
Fans of #flower should visit that place and standby with lots of free memory and good camera.
5. Visit Markets
Look at the crowd at the night market. This is a very popular places at Cameron. We are lucky because we walk there, since the traffic is very bad. Native products of Cameron Highlands are so abundantly, such as strawberries, vegetables, fruits, tea blends, plants and souvenirs. Not just that, the Night Market is also a culinary adventure- plenty of food choices from different culture across Malaysia.
So, if you are wondering what place to visit this year why choose Cameron Highland as your next destination. Take note if you don't like many people avoid going there during school holiday. Have Fun!
